In January 2022, Nshorna (my daughter) proposed putting together a comprehensive online Mindfulness course.

This course would offer both breadth and depth to give support to daily life.

Following on from that, the work started to prepare a 90-Day Mindfulness Challenge.

2. WELCOME TO THE WISE LOTUS CENTRE

On 1 April 2022, Nshorna formally launches The Wise Lotus Centre (TWLC) in Letchworth Garden City, 40 minutes on the train, north of London. The Centre is a five minute walk from the railway station.

She has created the Centre which will offer classes, courses and workshops during the day, evenings and weekends. The programme includes mindfulness, meditation, yoga, holistic therapies, self-care, public talks, classes for families, children and businesses.

On 12 and 13 March, Nshorna gave an open day with talks and classes after completing major renovation work to make the shop suitable as a centre.

Every package is plastic-free as much as possible, and includes a mindfulness practise leaflet.

Classes, courses and workshops for both adults, children and businesses to support physical and emotional health.

Centre to rely upon donations from workshop leaders

Making a bold risk, Nshorna offers the space in her centre to the teachers, therapists, facilitators and workshop leaders on a donation basis. (Dana in the Buddhist tradition).
It is for a trial period.

3. TEN YEARS AND TEN DAYS. A 528 PAGE MEMOIR

The retreats consist of comprehensive mindfulness/meditation instructions in sitting, walking, standing/reclining, inter-views with myself, inquiry, questions and answers, and a daily talk. Silence is a major feature of these retreats. Suitable for beginners and experienced meditators.

Nshorna Titmuss learned from her father about the importance of mindfulness since childhood. She started her career as a midwife in the late 90’s. Working for the NHS, major charities and social services, she has spent more than 20 years supporting vulnerable families. A skilled practitioner, manager and director, she is the founder of three Mindfulness organisations and has dedicated her career to supporting the wellbeing of others.

Christopher Titmuss, Britain’s senior mindfulness teacher, teaches mindfulness, insight meditation and wise action.
