100 Questions about Covid and Health, Work, Vaccinations, Transmissions and More. Develop an Inquiry into Areas Important for You and Others

I had my first Pfizer vaccination on Saturday 14 May 2021 and my second vaccination on Saturday 21 August 2021. The double vaccination enabled me to travel to Germany in October without quarantine to offer Dharma/Mindfulness teachings in the Waldhaus Zentrum, 60 minutes on the train from Bonn and at the Pauenhof Zentrum, 60 minutes from Dusseldorf over 18 days. Covid-19. Delta Variant. Can we come to conclusions about the future? Here are some. I wish time will prove me wrong.

I made my way up the hill from Totnes to get the second Pfizer jab last Saturday morning (21 August 2021). I had no enthusiasm for the first jab and no enthusiasm for the second jab. The jab-happy might think getting the jab shows common-sense. Others regard it as common-sense not to have the jab. Continue reading

Sixteen Reasons why Vaccinations and Human Behaviour cannot offer Full Protection against Covid-19. The global pandemic will haunt most countries, perhaps all, on this Earth for years to come.

Medical scientists and the pharmaceutical industry tell us week after week of the importance of getting a vaccination against Covid-19 and its variants. Research shows that the jab proves to be 90% effective or more. That is to be truly welcomed.

That amounts to nine out of 10 people. That still leaves in the UK with a population of more than 60 million some six million people for whom the vaccination does not work so well – if all adults in the country had the jab. Continue reading

CAN WE KNOW THE END OF THE WORLD? Online Video/Audio. 90 mins. with Christopher. Guided Meditation. Talk. Q and A. Via Sangha Live. Sunday 7 February 2021

This week, the news told us more than 100,000 people in the UK have died from Covid-19 in a year. That’s the fourth highest of the 215 nations. One in 63 people in Britain currently have Covid-19. That is more than one million people at any given time.

We might find ourselves thinking about life, death and the end of the world.

Areas of Science give priority to the future and ecological disaster unless we change our behaviour. The end of the world for sentient life could be getting closer as the world slowly gets hotter and hotter.

Areas of religion refer to the end of the world. ‘The end of the world is at hand.’
People regard death as the end of the world for them., whether secular or religious.

The shared common view states death is the end of the world for the secular and the religious.
Is this the most common view of humanity regardless of belief or not in an after life?
Is there a way to see and know the end of the world without reference to the above beliefs/views/concerns?
Is there a deep liberating truth embracing life and death?

The human experience of the ‘world’ consists of consciousness inter-acting with sense objects and the mind.
The world seems to consist of a world of diversity of things and diversity of views about things.
One view might claim we all live in the same world and another views claims we live in different worlds.
Claims of what is true, half true and false abound.

Last week, I wrote a 2000-word blog stating that I declined the invitation from my local clinic to receive Covid-19 vaccination. Over 250 comments landed in my social media, mostly from Facebook, and other social media. This blog shows my response to a range of comments. I took a sentence or a few lines from 15 comments.
