We can experience minutes, hours, days without self-other preoccupation, without interest in getting and having, nor indulging in plans, roles and desire for security.
In such times, we become receptive to a conscious way of being with a deeper sense of life. Some find the word ‘spiritual’ a suitable concept to summarise this kind of experience.
Towards enlivening our being for welfare of one and all.

Here are 12 Practices to Develop the Spiritual
1. Three 10 minutes meditations per day. Sit in Silence. Sit in Stillness. Sit with full presence.
2. One vegan meal per day or more.
3. Daily Walk. Unfamiliar streets, the park, woods, countryside – with senses open and receptive
4. No use of mobile phone, except to make or receive a phone call or record a beautiful moment.
5. Two original acts of kindness for others.
6. Read a spiritual/sacred text or poem daily. Read slowly or read aloud.
7. Keep journal of your spiritual experiences and practices.
8. Reflect on what you need to let go of from the past and then act.
9. Reflect on what you need to develop and go ahead.
10. Join a community of the like-minded, either person-to-persons, online or start one.
11. Stay open to secular, spiritual, religious experiences.
12. Do not turn your back on the diversity of exploration. Feel the freedom and happiness of the spirit.
