The monastery is about a 10 minutes walk from the Bodhi Tree, the spot of the Buddha’s enlightenment 2600 years ago.
The monastery provides a beautiful meditation hall, modern kitchen and new sleeping facilities. Average daily temperature in early March in Bodh Gaya is around 25 degrees.
Radha first travelled to India in the mid-1970s. She has made numerous return trips to India including teaching in the last decade or two. In the past 20 years, her travels as a Dharma teacher include Australia, Europe, India, Israel, Thailand and more. We have been friends for nearly 50 years and co-teaching on a number of retreats.
The Thai monastery kindly offers the retreat as a dana (donation/gift) covering food and accommodation for all Indians and internationals. Suchitra Shenoy India will assist.
The course is suitable for those completely new to meditation and experienced meditators.
With much uncertainty in the world, do not delay the opportunity to visit Bodh Gaya, listen to teachings/practices, and experience spiritual India.
