It has become an article of faith that a country has the right to defend itself. Many hold to this view as if it carried an unshakeable and irrefutable truth.

Countries worldwide use the slogan. We heard it again daily from Israel’s Prime Minister and then from US President Biden – “Israel has a right to defend itself.”

This specific statement means the nation state has the right to wage war on another country.

Why do some of our precious performing artists, singers, dancers and actors, have to go through so much suffering?

Those who are vaccinated and those who decline a vaccination need to unite

 I support vaccinations but there seems to be a growing intolerance of those of us who decline the jab and a similar intolerance to those who opt for the jab.

The vaccinated majority and the unvaccinated minority need to join together to tackle the sickness in the way of life that led to the growing spread of pandemics of which Covid-19 and its variant/mutations are the latest and most virulent expression so far.

Thursday 8 April is Holocaust Day. A talk on the Mutual Influences of Past and Present on Wednesday. 18.50 Israel time. 16.50 UK time.

Tomorrow (Thursday), Jewish citizens in Israel and worldwide, and millions of others, mark Holocaust Memorial Day. The day remembers the millions who suffered and died in the concentration camps during the time of the Nazi ideology. The day also acknowledges the genocides that have taken place in the years since.

Do I Create My Own Suffering? Does Another Create My Suffering? Or between us, we create suffering? Or is it Chance, Fate or Destiny?
