Meditate on Freedom of Being. A talk. Sunday 22 June 2025. Hosted by SanghaLive. See link/times to join.

Have you spent too much time focussing on mindfulness, state of mind-body, loving kindness (metta) and personal well-being?

Have you neglected the core purpose of all deep spiritual practices?

You might think you are a long way from exploring liberation. How far is the ocean from the wave?

Theme

In this session, I will focus on freedom of being and give you encouragement to make the theme a primary focus in your life.

Talk will include a practical, down-to-earth approach to a transcendent and liberating wisdom.

Realisation of liberation requires awareness/mindfulness, reflection/inquiry, meditation, time in the natural world, listening and reading the words of the wise, past and present.

These factors will sustain your capacity for an onoing exploration of liberation for a direct seeing and knowing – far deeper than a theoretical comprehension confined to the mind.

Liberation includes freedom from problematic conditioning, freedom to be, freedom to respond to challenges, inner and outer, and freedom to act with love.

Meditators/practitioners/Sangha easily fall into the narrow view that ongoing meditation practice will lead to a breakthrough experience confirming liberation. This session will explore an expansive view.

Do come. Bring both ears. Stay on screen to support stillness for receptivity. This session will focus on a fundamental shift in priorities in Dharma practice.

90-minute session consists of talk, guided meditation and Q&A.

Suitable for beginners and experienced meditators.

See you soon.

Love

Christopher

PS. This wallah will facilitate a workshop in Totnes, Devon, England on the first Friday evening of September 2025 on the theme of UP-RISING. HOW CAN WE REPOND MAJOR GLOBAL ISSUES? Talk/Q&A will be recorded and made available as an audio. Audio will also be transcribed and posted on my freely available Substack Post in the days after the workshop. It might be worthwhile to listen to or read for inspiration and insight.
