Fully vaccinated? To wear a face mask or not. We can rely upon scientific evidence. The evidence seems to depend upon where you live.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the USA stated on Thursday (13 May 2021) that masks and social distancing are no longer necessary for people who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

The Agency stated the move was driven by scientific evidence since the vaccines play a major role in curbing both infections and transmission of the virus. A growing number of States in the USA  have accepted this advice as it is driven by scientific evidence while other states have not yet made up their mind.

Following scientific evidence, the British government  state that being fully vaccinated does not prevent all infections.  Fully vaccinated citizens can still be infectious even after vaccination with any of the current vaccines. A fully vaccinated person can still get sick. A fully vaccinated person must still wear a mask.

Well, that’s clear. We can certainly rely upon consistency in scientific evidence or can we?

In which body of scientific evidence, do you place your faith?

If you choose one body of scientific evidence, does that show you do not trust the other body of scientific evidence?
