Don’t Hold Back. A Poem

Do stand up, take a risk
no cost to those around,
a hero walks inside,
release is then unbound.

A diver can’t hold back,
a plunge, the water’s cold,
a yogi sinks so deep,
a realm beyond behold.

A singer can’t resist,
as lyrics light the flame.
What does such risk feel like?
What does your voice proclaim?

As past is but a dream,
future is hanging low,
a leap remains a scare,
and trust is what you know.

So thoughts conceal the dare,
upon the edge of time,
so skip pretence on show,
and dance on rocks sublime.
