In times of sadness, we need To uplift the spirit.

Our attention turns back 10 years to 9/11, I have just written about this on my last blog along with a polemic on 9/11 in the form of a poem.  On the blog before that,  I wrote about Nadamo, a pillar of support for the Sangha who died unexpectedly on September 2, 2011.

At times, we need our spirit to uplift, to appreciate the power of the human spirit to transcend its limits. This short clip from “ Australia Got  Talent” carries the transcendent element through the voice and background of young  Emmanuel Kelly from Iraq.

As one of the four judges said right at the end: “it makes everything you worry about seem so pathetic.”

Take a view. Pass the word on.
