  • Dear Christopher,
With regard to your dharma yatra in Germany. Do you not have concerns about the cost to the planet of so many people flying to this event? Greta Thunberg has commented on the needless situation of politicians and delegates flying to yet another climate conference to talk about what we already know rather than take action. In other words those of us who care about the future of the planet are trying to set an example by not flying unless absolutely necessary. I belong to the Extinction Rebellion group. I am sure you know about it. We are in London for two weeks in order to pressure the Government into declaring a climate emergency. XR urge all of its member to not only take part in their actions but also to lobby our friends, families, colleagues. And so I respectfully ask you why you feel it necessary to hold this event? Regards Denise Hay
